Twin Mt Princess

We are very proud to offer Yukon for sale. He is well suited for any breeding program that is looking obtain or maintain cashmere quality fiber production in their herd. We have started using him for our Fall of 2014 and are anxious to see how his crias compare with his notable full brother, YO. He has a very soft, fine, very dense and uniform fleece with excellent character and brightness. With a 17 micron AFD at 4 years old If he follows in his siblings footsteps, he has many more years left in the Royal Baby Fine category. Yukon has not had the opportunity to be shown as much as we would have liked. He has always impressed the judges and placed well in tough white male classes. At one show we brought his full brother and a 1/2 brother that all`placed in the same white adult male class out of 14 entries. Yukon was very consistent in the show ring. He always placed among very tough competition. His EPD's are phenomenal. Trait and ranking data available.There is only ONE animal in the ARI EPD program that tests out better across all measured traits than Yukon and that is his full sister, Eleanor and she is one of the "Top Five" ARI featured Female alpacas.
